Finance Manager - Physician Practice

1st/Days; Up to 35% Travel Required

The Finance Manager - Physician Group is responsible for providing financial support to the Office of Clinical Leadership (OCL) and the Physician Groups across the enterprise.  The Finance Manager - Physician Group reports to the Regional CFO and serves as a key business partner to the enterprise Chief Medical Offer, Chief of Clinical Operations, AVP - Physician Group and Regional CFO.  The role is also an important member of the enterprise finance team.

Responsibilities include collaborating with clinical operations to improve financial performance, reimbursement, and costs along with physician group controllership duties.  The role requires strong analytical and organizational skills.   Additionally, the Finance Manager - Physician Group must possess the ability to influence without authority in a matrixed organization and complete deliverables in a timely and accurate manner.

Required Education/Experience

  • BS/BA in Acounting or Finance
  • CPA or MBA with HFMA certification desired
  • Five years or more of physician practice, hospital accounting, finance, and/or operational experience
  • One or more years of managerial/leadership experience
