Job Summary/Purpose:

Responsible for ensuring timely procurement of goods and services to support patient care and services. Procurement shall conform to enterprise finance and purchasing policies and procedures.  This role would cross multiple sites as needed to support enterprise PSM initiatives and or operations.   

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Two years of healthcare purchasing experience preferred
  • Two years purchasing experience with Lawson preferred
  • Value Analysis, Category Management and or Strategic sourcing experience is a plus. 
  • Experience with the procurement of specialized goods services (i.e. Surgery, Culinary, etc.) a plus.

Essential Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to frequently stand and walk for extended periods of time
  • Ability to remain stationary for extended periods of time
  • Ability to stoop or kneel
  • Ability to perform fine manipulation (i.e., keyboard) and physically operate equipment required for the job
  • Good visual acuity  
  • Good hearing is essential for accurate information
