This position is responsible for supporting two departments: Legal and Medicine & Science. Key responsibilities will include: meetings and event planning, drafting and mailing of correspondence, reports and presentations; arranging travel for multiple VPs and Directors and processing expense reports/check requests; maintaining various databases for the Medicine & Science team as well as contracts management for the Legal department. This position will effectively prioritize multiple projects and tasks to meet deadlines and achieve identified goals and will interface with all levels of management and stakeholders both internally and externally.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • BA/BS in business, healthcare, journalism, other related field required.
  • Must have 5+ years in administrative or management experience in healthcare related setting.
  • Proven ability to manage internal communications and collaborate with stakeholders within the entire organization.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Excellent written and oral communication including facilitation skills.
  • Ability to interact with all levels of the organization as well as outside vendors and others.
  • Proficient typing/keyboard skills required.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook); experience with Access, Visio, Project preferred
  • Knowledge of medical terminology required.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects independently.
  • Ability to exercise good judgment and resolve issues with minimal amount of supervision.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information.
