Position Overview

 

Collects and evaluates the medical records to enter and reconcile charges for Outpatient Clinic, Surgery, Oncology Rehab, and Radiation Oncology and ensures accuracy and completeness in capturing charges for these various departments and clinics. Works in partnership with the leadership and teams of these departments to understand the formal and informal departmental goals and provides necessary support to ensure that goals are met. Manages daily census reports and or productivity reports for departments and or clinics. Understands the policies and procedures of these departments as well as overall hospital policy and procedures. Sensitive to the interrelationship of people and functions as well as confidentiality within the department. Coordinates and completes new hire paperwork for outpatient clinic as needed. Leverages exceptional organizational and critical thinking skills.

 

 

Key Position Qualifications

 

  • High school diploma or equivalent, Bachelor degree preferred
  • Five years related experience supporting a medical outpatient clinic, director/executive level
  • Excellent organizational and statistical analysis skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products
  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills
  • Ability to appropriately interact with all levels of the organization and represent the department in a professional manner
